The short version: Over the three months ending September 2026, the median Huntington Beach home sold for $1,399,334, up 5.3% from a year earlier, at about $766 per square foot, and typically went under contract in about 43 days.
Huntington Harbour
Huntington Harbour is a waterfront community of about 680 acres built on the former Sunset Bay estuary. Construction started in 1963, and it includes five man-made islands (Admiralty, Davenport, Gilbert, Humboldt and Trinidad) connected by boating channels. Many homes have private docks.
Beyond the Harbour
Huntington Beach is a large city with very different neighborhoods, from downtown near the pier to established family areas inland. The $1.5M to $4M range covers updated single-family homes across much of the city, and the waterfront and near-beach homes at the upper end.
Schools
This is where Huntington Beach gets tricky. Several elementary districts serve different parts of the city, while high schools are in the Huntington Beach Union High School District. Crossing one street can change the elementary district, so check each address with the districts.
